Cancellation & postponement
If it is necessary to cancel or postpone or reschedule your wedding event, we will reimburse you, up to the limits outlined in the table of benefits, for certain unforeseen events. Coverage includes cancellation by the venue, injury or sickness to the bride, groom or an immediate family member, severe weather or natural disasters and more.

Rescheduling of wedding
In the event of a covered Cancellation or Postponement in Section 1, We will cover you up to the amount shown in the Schedule, for the Wedding Event to be Rescheduled within ninety (90) days from the original Wedding Event.

Wedding supplier failure
If your original wedding supplier fails to meet written, signed and contracted obligations to you for your wedding event resulting from the wedding supplier’s bankruptcy, liquidation (after paying the supplier any monies) or non-appearance, we will reimburse you up to up to the limits outlined in the table of benefits.

Wedding cars & transport
We will cover you, up to the amount in the Schedule, for non-refundable deposits and Additional Transport Costs associated with arranging alternative equivalent Wedding Cars and Transport in the event that the private hire firm, with whom the Wedding Cars and Transport arrangements for Your Wedding Event have been made, fails to meet their contractual obligations due to: Non-Appearance of the private hire firm’s vehicle or person, or breakdown of or Accident to the vehicle.

Wedding attire (clothes)
We will cover the cost to repair or replace stolen or damaged wedding attire that is in possession of the bride, groom, a member of the bridal party or an immediate family member.

We will cover the cost to repair or replace stolen or damaged wedding rings that are in possession of the bride, groom, a member of the bridal party or an immediate family member.

Wedding gifts
If within seven (7) days prior, or at your wedding event, your wedding gifts are lost, stolen or damaged due to accident, fire or theft, we will reimburse the cost to repair or replace (whichever is less) Your Wedding Gifts up to $500 per item. The maximum amount payable in total for all items is outlined in the table of benefits. The maximum amount payable for money as a wedding gift is $500 in total.

Professional counselling
We will cover you, up to the amount in the schedule, for the expenses You necessarily incur for professional counselling as a result of emotional distress in the event of a covered Cancellation or Postponement in Section 1.

Accidental damage to hired equipment
If hired equipment, including marquees, tents, gazebos, portable flooring, chairs, tables, furniture or lighting equipment, is accidentally damaged whilst in your care, custody and control, we will reimburse you, up to the limits outlined in the table of benefits, the cost to repair or replace the accidentally damaged hired equipment.
